Extreme Build for Youth
Began November 3rd
Extreme Build 2007 is our third annual building event where young people across our community from different schools, churches, organizations, faiths, age groups, races, and backgrounds are coming together to sponsor and build TWO
Habitat homes for TWO families in need.
Due to the overwhelming response to our inaugural build with youth, we are doubling our energy with Extreme Build 2007.
Extreme Build provides an opportunity for area youth (ages 7 to 25) to learn new skills, participate in rewarding community service, earn service hours, and work as a diverse team to plan, sponsor, and build two homes for deserving families in need.

- 16-17 years of age can be on a ladder
- 14-15 years of age will have feet on the ground. They will be brought into the build
once the house is “in the dry” for painting, dry wall, trim, landscaping,
insulation, lower level siding work, etc.
- Under 14 are used for landscaping, tools and materials management, supplying/serving meals or
snacks to volunteer crews, stocking the house with supplies for the new
homeowner, house dedications, off site construction projects, etc.
Extreme Build for Youth is all about learning something new, bringing your friends
along, meeting new friends, having fun, and making a real difference to
deserving families in our community!
