Extreme  Build for Youth 2006

Extreme Build 2006 was our second annual building event where young people across our community from different schools, churches, organizations, faiths, age groups, races, and backgrounds are coming together to sponsor and build TWO Habitat homes for TWO families in need.

The 2006 Extreme Build for Youth construction started at 8:00am on Saturday, November 4, 2006 and ended March 24, 2007. Charles Haley, 5 time Super Bowl Champion with the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers joined us on this build as our Honorary Chairman. The two homes were built next door to each other at 901 and 905 Avenue F in the Douglass Community in East Plano for the Revely and Johnson families.

Habitat for Humanity – South Collin County successfully brought over 1500 youth in the community together to learn new skills, meet new friends and participate in making a real difference in the life of two deserving families in our community.
