Power Build for Youth 2005

December 3, 2005 – March 23, 2006

With muscles flexed and spirits high, crews of twenty-five to sixty youth, sponsors, and youth leaders, came together on Saturdays for twelve to fourteen weeks to make dreams come true for a new homeowner family.

The 2005 Power Build for Youth construction started at 8:00am on Saturday, December 3, 2005 and ended March 23, 2006. The home was built at 1107 F Avenue in the Douglass Community in East Plano for Deborah Allen and her four children.

Habitat for Humanity – South Collin County successfully brought over 600 youth in the community together to learn new skills, meet new friends and participate in making a real difference in the life of a deserving family in our community.
