Donate: Appliances, Furniture, Fixtures, House Hold Items & Surplus Building Materials

We have an ongoing need for donated items in several categories: Home Decor, Appliances, Furniture, warehouse items, fixtures, sporting, exercise and home furnishings. Antiques and Estates.

We accept donations of new and used building merchandise in 100% working condition from remodeling jobs, business closeouts, contractors and builders surplus, and in lieu of garage sales, IF space available.

Habitat for Humanity SCCTX provides a Tax Receipt as we are a 501c-3 Non-Profit - proceeds used to build more houses for families in need..so far 57 locally, 2 in Haiti, and many more...THANK YOU..much appreciated.

Typical items requested for donation to resell in our store - new or nearly new:

Appliances

Refrigerators, Freezers, Washer/Dryers, Ranges, Ovens, Cook Tops, Dishwashers, Range Vents & More.
Stainless Steel, Black or White
All Appliances must be working as we need an appliance repair volunteer.
We do accept TV's but must charge the area disposal fee as required by ordinance.

Fixtures

Lights, Fans, Sinks, Bath tubs, Whirlpool Baths, Showers, Counter Tops, Faucets, Door Knobs, Dead Bolts, Electrical Plugs, Outlets, Switches, & More.
All must be in good working order not needing any repair

Flooring material

We do accept flooring and flooring related material, MUST be NEW not used.
Carpet, Carpet Squares, Rolls of Carpet, rolls of vinyl, underlayment, padding & More.
5 box minimum on: Hardwood, Laminate, Vinyl, ceramic and porcelain tile.

Furniture

Living Room Furniture, Dinning Room Furniture, Bedroom Furniture, Kitchen Tables & Chairs, Sofas, Bookcases, TV Stands, Armoires, China Cabinets, End Tables, Coffee Tables, Beds, Dressers, Night Stands & More.
Must be in good condition, not needing repair or cleaning.

Hardware

We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, etc. Almost all types if it's not rusty Key locks MUST have keys.

Home Decor Items

Lamps, Rugs, Pictures, Frames, Wall Art, What Knots, China, Silverware, Vases, Christmas Decor, Halloween Decor, Easter Decor, Fourth of July Decor, Cabinet Knobs & Pulls, & More
Must be clean and in good unbroken condition.

Lighting

We accept all light fixtures in working condition. No ballasts with pcb's. Brass colored only taken when space is available.

Lumber • Plywood • Sheetrock • Trim

We accept full and1/2 sheets of plywood. We accept full lengths of lumber. We will accept trim in smaller pieces, but not less than 4 feet long. Please, no rot or nails sticking out of lumber.

Mirror • Glass

Framed mirror and glass is accepted if certain conditions apply. Please call prior to donating these items. No large unframed mirrors please.

Misc

We accept most new items, unusual items, Records, DVD's, CD's, DVD Players, CD Players, Receivers, Record Players, Stereo's, Sporting Goods, Golf Clubs, Fishing Poles & Reels, Handicap equipment, Power Chairs, Exercise Equipment & More..call us. Books.
Must be in good working condition.

Paint • Wallcoverings

We will take full containers of latex paint purchased from a paint store! NO LEFTOVERS! We cannot take toxic, hazardous substances, (i.e. pesticides, powders, paint thinners, or other chemicals). Wallpaper is taken in full-unopened rolls.

Pipe • Pvc • Metal • Copper

We accept 4' and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings. Wire on container.

Plumblng • TUBS • SINKS • SHOWERS • COMMODES

We accept tubs, sinks and vanities if they are in good condition and clean. We accept commodes only if they are in working condition and are the low flush (1.6 gallon) type. They must be very clean!! We will not take a dirty commode under any circumstance. No large foe-marble bath sinks please.

Roofing Material • Gutters • Canales

We accept all types of roofing material such as rolled roofing material, tar, metal roofing, bundles of new shingles. We also accept roofing gutter/canale materials that are in full pieces and are not rusty, bent up or damaged.

Tools

All hand and power tools. Table Saws, Band Saws, Nail Guns, Painting Machinery, Hammers, Screw Drivers, Pliers, Trowels, Clamps, Drills, Power Screwdrivers, Levels, Files, Punches & More
Must be in good working condition

Windows • Screens

We accept DOUBLE PANE windows of all types if the glass is intact. Most windows will show use, even if they are newer. If they are casement type, we appreciate having the hardware and cranks.
