Faith-based organizations serve many functions in and around the Plano area, extending a helping hand into the community to meet not only spiritual and emotional needs, but physical needs as well. Churches have provided the backbone of  Habitat for Humanity - South Collin County’s outreach, both through finances and volunteer labor.

In order to facilitate coordination with faith-based organizations, Habitat for Humanity - South Collin County has formed an alliance with a new organization that works to bring together the many faith-based organizations in South Collin County for the purpose of organizing and coordinating work projects in our community. This organization allows churches to participate in a valuable outreach event with other churches / synagogues / mosques in our community, pooling their resources to achieve greater goals than they have the resources or expertise to do on their own.
