Now you can give a small amount each month and we will automatically bill it to your credit card. Several churches and individuals have found that by providing monthly gifts they are able to give at the level they would like and spread the payments over a year. This method also helps us plan projects, knowing that a set amount is coming in. Cash Gifts

Company Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies will match your contribution? You can increase your gift to Habitat for Humanity -South Collin County if your company offers matching gifts. Ask your employer if they match charitable contributions. If so, please let us know. Following is a list of companies we know to have a matching gifts program.

Material Gifts

Gifts of land, construction equipment and tools, office supplies, etc., are always welcome. If you are interested in making this type of contribution, please contact our Executive Director, Dick Taylor, at 972-398-0634, or email Dick at info@habitat-scc.org.

Feed Our Volunteers

During every build day, we need to feed lunch to 25 to 35 people. If your organization or group would like to donate and prepare the food for our workers, please contact Glenna Crawford at 972-398-0634 or email her at info@habitat-scc.org.

Land

Habitat for Humanity -South Collin County is always looking for lots in targeted communities. The cost of the land is the most expensive line item in a new house. Our budget for land purchase on a typical house ranges between $10,000 and $16,000. Unfortunately, we are finding that land costs are skyrocketing in the areas we have been primarily building. We are looking for land in Wiley, Allen, and other areas in South Collin County.

Sponsor an Event

Each year Habitat for Humanity -South Collin County plans two or three events to help raise our operating funds for the year. These events help pay our overhead, including salaries, office and warehouse space, and other general business expenses.
