Samsung Telecommunications America is sponsoring their third home with Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County. Construction began on August 15th and will run through early November. The home will be built at 1020 G Avenue in the Douglass Community of Plano.

Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County was honored to have Dale Sohn, President of Samsung Telecommunications America on site for the kick off event. In the three years of Dale’s leadership, Samsung has risen to become the number one mobile handset provider in the US. Innovative design, cutting-edge technology & renowned ingenuity are proud characteristics of Samsung but it’s their core value of co-prosperity that has made Samsung such a valued corporate partner. Dale has been an enthusiastic supporter of Habitat for Humanity and thanks to his dedication this is the third home Samsung has sponsored for a deserving family.

The kick off event began with words from both HfHSCC board member Gwen Walters and Dale Sohn. Introduction of the partner family was made by Omar Khan, Samsung Senior Vice President of Product. The Hodgson family then drove the first nail into their home along with Sohn and Khan.
