10th Annual Gala - "There's No Place Like Home"

On Saturday, April 20, 2013, Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County (HfH-SCC) will host the 10th Annual “There’s No Place Like Home” Gala at The Marriott Legacy Town Center in Plano, Texas. The event is the largest fundraiser for HfH-SCC. This year’s event will be special as we will be honoring our founding, past & present board members. Samsung will be our Title Sponsor once again. Our goal is to top $140,000 enough to build 2 affordable homes. We are anticipating 300 guests who will enjoy live music, cocktails, dinner and a spectacular silent and live auction using state of the art technology.

HfH-SCC has constructed 68 new, decent and affordable houses in South Collin County, transforming the lives of 209 deserving family members, including 120 children. By our Gala night, we will be up to 71 new houses and over 225 family members served. While this is a major milestone for our organization, the need continues to grow. It is only with your support that we can continue to address the need for affordable housing in our community.
